Anchorage, AK – January 10, 2013 – Alaska CargoPort, LLC presents 2 hours 15 minutes from the window of our building condensed through time lapse into 55 seconds. Even in the extreme cold of a winter day in Alaska, the cargo continues to fly in, exchange hands, and fly back out to its ultimate destinations. It is only a snapshot of the activity that takes place daily at the Alaska CargoPort, LLC.

About Alaska CargoPort, LLC
Built in 1999, with expansions and many improvements since, the Alaska CargoPort, LLC is located on the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport four miles southwest of downtown Anchorage, Alaska. The Alaska CargoPort is privately owned and operated- joint venture. The facility houses a variety of operations including ground handling, warehouse services, deicing, and GSE maintenance. Other features of the facility include 11 existing wide-body hardstands, 7 of which can accommodate 747-800 aircraft and this can be simultaneously; fuel hydrants for each position; and direct ramp access including two dedicated AOA gates on site.
